What types of events is the Animation Playground suitable for?
We create original animation workstations, machines and optical devices that we design and build ourselves. They bring festivals, exhibitions, accompanying programmes, city celebrations and commercial events to life with unique content that visitors rarely encounter elsewhere.
The Animation Playground is mobile, flexible and suitable for events lasting from a few hours to several days. Visitors can drop in at any time and explore stop-motion animation, optical tricks and the principles of moving images at their own pace. An experienced tutor is always present to explain everything, help with the equipment and support visitors in creating their own animations.
How does the mobile Animation Playground work?
We bring a selection of animation workstations, original machines and optical devices to the venue. Everything is installed as an open space that visitors can explore freely.
The Animation Playground works primarily as an interactive mini-exhibition and drop-in workshop with no fixed start or finish. Visitors can try the individual stations, create at their own pace and join in for just a few minutes or stay for longer. Guided animation workshops for organised groups can also be included.
One or more experienced tutors are always present to explain the principles of animation, help with the equipment and support visitors in creating their own work.
Can a workshop for a private group be included?
The Animation Playground can also include a guided stop-motion workshop for a private group of school-age children. Participants learn the basic principles of stop-motion animation and create their own short film using selected animation workstations.
We adapt the programme length, number of workstations and content to the participants’ age and group size.

We select the specific composition of the stands based on the type of event, space, and agreed scope of the program.
Rental of an animation playground for an event
You can book our Animation Playground for anything from a few hours to several days. We provide the equipment, installation, tutors, materials and dismantling.
The programme is suitable for cultural organisations, museums, galleries, festivals, schools, municipalities, institutions and companies looking to add original interactive content to their events.
Schools can fund the workshops through OP JAK Templates. Local Action Plans for Education (MAP) and regional IDZ projects may cover programmes for both children and teachers.
