A multiplane animation table for teaching stop-motion animation and more.

Multiplane is an educational animation table for stop-motion animation and film education. It was created by OPAK studio as a practical tool for schools, art schools, galleries, museums, and educational institutions.

It allows users to work in layers — combining backgrounds, characters, and objects — and clearly demonstrates the principles of animation, image composition, and working with space.

The table is suitable for:

• primary and secondary schools,

• art schools and film clubs,

• galleries and museums,

• workshops and animation studios,

• independent animators.

The Multiplane table has three animation layers. The lower two are sliding layers, allowing for easy handling and adjustment. Each layer has its own adjustable lighting for working with light and the atmosphere of the image.

The animation area, measuring 700 × 500 mm, provides enough space for both simple and more advanced animation projects.

The table can be equipped with:

• an integrated camera and touchscreen with an animation app,

• or a universal stand for your own equipment.

As standard, the table is fitted with four lockable castors, but it can also be supplied with fixed legs. The height of the work surface can be adjusted as needed.
